Miss Walker who joined the Caribbean Maritime University (formerly the Caribbean Maritime Institute) in 2000 has held many positions at the University throughout her tenure - Executive Secretary; International Programmes Manager; Admissions Manager; Deputy Registrar since 2017. She acted as Registrar for approximately two (2) years and commenced acting as Vice President, Administration/University Registrar in July 2022.

Miss Walker is an effective higher education professional with a commitment to student success and good corporate stewardship. She is a strong advocate for technological innovation. She is committed to adopting best practices in higher education management with adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.

Miss Walker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Management from the Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, she received a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration and Development from the University of Birmingham. She graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Higher Educational Management from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.

She is a member of several professional associations including Alpha Chi Honour Society, Sigma Beta Delta Honour Society; International Association of Administrative Professional (IAAP); Women in Maritime Association of the Caribbean (WIMAC).

She is a mother of one (1) daughter. Ms. Walker loves to read, network, journal and watches foreign films.

Miss Walker took up her appointment as Vice President, Administration/University Registrar on November 11, 2022.
