Quality Objectives


CARIBBEAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY QUALITY OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the CMU are to:

  1. Develop industry-leading maritime and logistics professionals through academic and competence-based training and certification, ensuring 80% of programme resources are aligned with industry and accreditation standards within each academic year resulting in 40% increase in graduates annually across faculties/programmes/disciplines.

  2. Fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation, by establishing partnerships with academic and industry institutions to enhance global ranking, boost citations and publications by 10% and attract 80% funding for institutional research initiatives annually.

  3. Promote a culture of safety, health and environmental responsibility within the university spaces by collaborating with relevant authorities and adhering to regulations by maintaining 100% compliance to reduce reportable incidents annually.
