FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You can access the ERMS by using the username and password credentials provided by the OHRA by accessing and logging in at webpage http://erms.cmu.edu.jm .
Click on My Profile – This is used to view the employee’s work and personal information. Additionally, the employee has the option to suggest changes to the information presented.
The ERMS allows you to make requests for information and/or biographic details or be updated. There are three smart buttons located at the top right of the employee profile that allow specific actions. Click on the Request for Update Button, select Address Change box, enter new address, then click on Request for Change, this is updated in 24 hours.
Login to ERMS Click on “My Attendance” at the left.
After clinking on My Attendance, at the top left, click on Print Attendance Report. Set the start date and end date for the attendance period you are generating. Then print.
Enter ERMS Profile, click on leave balances, this tab shows the number of days allotted for each leave category (vacation, sick, department); the number of leave days taken and allows the employee to create and view leave requests.
To create leave request: Click on “Create Leave Request” for the leave type (vacation, sick, departmental) you wish to create a request for. Indicate when the leave will start and end. The next step will save the leave request. After which you will “Submit Leave Request” for processing. Please NB: Leave requests are submitted to supervisor for approval, then to HR for validation.
Staff can send an email to hr@cmu.edu.jm requesting the letter, stating address and specific details to be included in letter. Or you can visit the OHRA and complete the Request Logbook.
