DR. ERON MCLEAN
Dr. Eron McLean is a seasoned executive at the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU). He holds a Doctor of Education in Adult Education from Walden University, an MBA degree from the University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the West Indies. He is a trained teacher with a Diploma in Teaching English & History from Church Teachers' College. Dr. McLean has done several professional courses including a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance at the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
Dr. McLean has served the CMU as Director Corporate Planning and Administration, Associate and Vice President of Planning and Development at CMU and is now the Vice President of Physical Planning and Facilities. Dr. McLean is a change agent, having served the Jamaica Customs Department as its Manager of Training and Development during a critical organization restructuring period.
In his present role, Dr. McLean works closely with other executives, including Professor Ibrahim Ajagunna, Deputy President, and Professor Andrew Spencer, President of CMU. Under their leadership, CMU continues to expand its programs and partnerships, solidifying its position as a leading maritime university in the Caribbean.
